In November, the film club will break with tradition and screen a French drama, Of Gods and Men, followed by a discussion with director Isti Madarász and actor Miklós Vecsei H. about faith, courage, and how long a person can remain human when everything around them collapses.

In a remote Algerian village, eight French monks live in harmony with the locals—until war and fanaticism knock on the monastery gate. Peace slowly turns into fear, and faith is put to the test.
